Welcome New and Returning Students!
We hope everyone had a fun and restful summer and is ready to learn some awesome dance! Many students took advantage of the summer schedule to really improve their technique by taking extra classes. The faculty cheers you! For those who missed out on summer classes, start stretching now so you aren’t too sore! NO MERCY!!!!

Schedule Changes
Please note that the Tuesday Jazz I 1st year class at 4:00 is closed. The good news is that we have added another one on Thursdays at 4:00. Also, the Pre-ballet Ii class on Wednesday at 6:15 is closed but the Saturday 9:15 one has many openings. The Tuesday Jazz II first year is closed.

Placement Policies
It has come to our attention that some students have “moved themselves up” a level. Please understand that this is not acceptable. Students who have advanced quickly have all taken extra classes and continue to do so. Dancing in a level you aren’t ready for can be frustrating and also dangerous. If you have registered for a class without the instructor’s assistance, please address this immediately.

Registration
All students, new and returning must have registered either online or over the phone. If you know of someone who doesn’t receive this newsletter, please tell them about this. This stems back from a computer malfunction in May.

Celebration DVD's and Pictures
Celebration DVD’s and pictures should be in your hands soon. Chimera Digital expected to have the DVD’s mailed out in August. The pictures will be delivered to the studio.

Joffrey Ballet Auditions

DANCE in Love
Dance In Love is a Christian Dance Company. Our mission is to glorify God with the gift he has given us by performing in places such as churches, nursing homes and annually at Dance Revolution, a Christian dance convention. We begin and end each session with prayer. We also have a card ministry, sending cards to those we pray for. We accept all dancers ages 7 and over who are enrolled in at minimum of two hours per week at The Dance Gallery. We will meet on Saturdays from 1:30-2:30 beginning September 23rd. This is earlier than last year due to Dance Revolution taking place in January instead of February.

On a Final Pointe

  1. TUITION DUE NO LATER THAN SATURDAY SEPT. 9TH

  2. CHECK YOUR BROCHURE FOR UNIFORM POLICIES

  3. LET’S GET OFF TO A GREAT 2006-2007 SEASON!
