Dance in LOVE
Dance In Love held a dance marathon
that raised over $1000.00 for Riley Children's
hospital. Thanks to all who helped and had
fun!!!
Dance in Love will be traveling to Indianapolis
February 11-12th for Dance Revolution. Dance
Revolution is a dance convention where students
will experience many different styles of dance
including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap and
even African. On Saturday night Dance in Love
will perform. This is a Christian dance
convention. All music is appropriate and all
teachers teach from the Christian perspective.
Any students wishing to attend should sign the
sheet on the front doors. All Dance Gallery
students are invited to attend even if they do
not perform with us. It is a great weekend of
dance and worship! For more information see the
bulletin board.
Dress Code and Other Studio Manners :)
Here is a review of the dress code for those who
need it. Hair must be pulled all the way off of
the face and neck for ballet. Black leotard,
pink tights and pink ballet shoes ( real shoes
bought from a dance supply store) must be worn.
ONLY level four may wear colors other than black
or tank tops with their leotards. This applies
for jazz class as well. Hair must be in a pony
tail for jazz and tap. Students should wear jazz
clothes for tap.
Midriff Tops Are Not To
Be Worn!
This dress code is created to keep
the dancer's attention focused on dance and not
fashion. We appreciate your cooperation. We
understand that many of you must bring all of
your children with you when one is dancing. We
ask only that you watch them and keep them
entertained in a QUIET way while the class is in
session. It is the dancer's special time and any
distractions take away from that. Also please
remember that The Dance Gallery sits on sand and
therefore no food is permitted in the studios or
waiting areas as we have an ant problem. Please
be prompt to your classes. Entering late is a
distraction.
