Schedule Changes - Spring Break
The Dance Gallery will be closed from March 21-26 for spring break. This closing is reflected in a longer session.

Celebration of Dance 2005 :: News
Remember to mark your calendars for FRIDAY, JUNE 17TH and CELEBRATION 2005. The Celebration is held at Munster High School.

Celebration of Dance 2005 :: Parts
The theme of this years CELEBRATION 2005 will be PETER PAN. The Parts for the PETER PAN program will be as follows:

  • PETER PAN: Katie Frank

  • WENDY: Lauren Rowley

  • TINKERBELLE: Cara Scrementi

  • HOOK: Ellen Ratajack

  • PETER'S SHADOW: Elizabeth Hutter

  • MOTHER: Kaitlin Ritchie

  • TIGER LILIE: Natalie Miyashiro

  • SMEE: Abigail Rowley

  • JOHN: Amy Chihara

  • MICHAEL: TBA

  • MERMAIDS: Sophie Griggs, Megan Krueger, Hannah Kimberly

  • INDIANS: Lindsay Hayes, Chan Huyn, Jessica Kitchell, Emily Torres

****The above parts will require extra rehearsals and costume fees. If you are unable to make the commitment, please let Ms. Amy know immediately.

Also please note that to have one of these parts you needed to have let Ms. Amy know you wanted one. If you miss more than one rehearsal for these parts it may be given to someone else. These parts are based on class attendance, seniority, hours enrolled, work ethic and ability.

Celebration of Dance 2005 :: Parts by Class Schedule

[Monday]

  • 3:15 crocodiles

  • 4:00 (Ms. Amy) Indians

  • 5:00 (Ms. Amy) Pirates

[Tuesday]

  • 5:00 (Ms. Amy) Mermaids

  • 6:00 Tinkerbelles

[Thursday]

  • 4:00 Wendys

  • 5:00 the pre-pointe class will be in a separate ballet to "I Feel Pretty"

[Saturday]

  • 9:00 Indians

  • 10:00 crocodiles

  • 10:45 lost children

All Jazz classes will be in a separate Jazz Section. Rehearsals will begin in May for all jazz classes at 4:00. These are not optional.

Celebration of Dance 2005 :: Costumes
You will receive either a bill or credit due for balance of your costume deposits. Look for your child to bring this home toward the end of April.

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR BALANCES AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE YOUR BILL.

Congratulations to Amy Chihara!!!
Dance in Love recently traveled to Indianapolis for a weekend of spectacular dancing and worship. Amy Chihara was the winner of the Junior all-around scholarship. We performed two pieces in the Showcase and received wonderful comments from the faculty. Good job everyone!!

Summer School
Please let Ms. Amy know if you will be attending Summer School. We try to accommodate students schedules for the summer as much as possible. Students currently enrolled in levels Dance exploration and above are encouraged to attend Summer classes. Children turning 7 before August 31st may enroll in Summer Jazz Class. Ballet and jazz dancers in levels one and above may not stay with their class if not enrolled in summer classes. Look for sign up sheets beginning in May. If you have specific requirements please submit them in writing.
