STUDIO CLOSINGS
Classes begin Monday, June 30th and
run through August 9th. The Dance Gallery will
have classes on Thursday, July 3rd in the
morning. The afternoon and evening classes will
not meet. No classes will be held on Friday,
July 4th or Saturday, July 5th. We will hold
make up classes for these dates to be determined
as a group.

ANOTHER GREAT PERFORMANCE!!
As always, we are so proud of all of
our Dance Gallery students. You continually
amaze us with your beautiful stage presence and
performance quality. You are the ones who give
the Celebration it’s professional quality.
SUMMER CLASSES….VERY
NECESSARY
Now keep up those skills with extra
classes in the summer. It’s a short session, but
intense and the difference does show if you miss
it. This is a great opportunity to try classes
you may not have tried such as Lyrical and
Modern. Please note an error in the program
schedule. The Monday night pre-ballet II class
was listed as a Jazz V class. Pre-ballet II will
still be held on Mondays from 6:30-7:30. Also,
we've added two tap classes: Tap II 5:30-6:30p
and Tap II 6:30-7:30p.
A WORD ABOUT THE SENIOR
DANCE
Everyone always looks forward too,
and enjoys the senior dance. We have always held
the criteria that the dancers participating in
this dance must take at least 5 ½ hours of dance
AT THE DANCE GALLERY in order to participate.
These specifications will be upheld from this
point forward. This is a special dance, a
bonding time for the seniors and Ms. Amy, and
should be considered an honor to participate in.
WELCOME NEW INSTRUCTOR,
KELSEY YATES!!
Kelsey was with Dayton Contemporary
Dance Company's second company until she moved
to Chicago to be on scholarship at Lou Conte
Dance Studio. Kelsey has just finished her
second season with Thodos Dance Chicago and will
be joining River North Chicago Dance Company as
an apprentice for their 2008-2009 season. We are
so pleased that she eagerly is taking time out
of her busy schedule to teach the Thursday jazz
classes. After substitute teaching a couple of
times, she has described the Dance Gallery
students as “talented and hard working”. She is
excited to join the Dance Gallery faculty. View

CELEBRATION DVD’S
I have been told that the DVD will be
available in about 2 weeks. Please use your
order form found in the program and mail your
orders and payments directly to Professional
Video Services at P.O. Box 1971, Highland, IN
46322. The DVDs will be mailed to you.
ON A FINAL POINTE
