Celebration Videos
CELEBRATION Videos are in, and ready to be picked up. If you didn't order your copy and would still like one, we have some extras and more can still be ordered.

New Faculty Members!!!!!
We are so excited about the two new faculty members at the Dance Gallery.

Both instructors are alumni of The Dance Gallery, making this a truly special addition. First we have Taytum Trout who is currently a student at Indiana University and the Lou Conte dance studios. Secondly, we have Nick Pupillo who just finished a contract with Gus Giordano dance company. Check out their bios on the Instructors' page and stop in to say hello and welcome them back to their roots!

It's a Boy!!!!!
Faculty member Miss Randi and her husband Pete brought a new blessing to the world on July 31st. Miss Randi gave birth to Alexander who weighed 7 lbs. 6oz. We are thrilled with this addition to the Dance Gallery family. Randi and Alexander are recuperating at home and doing just fine. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audition Information
The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago will hold auditions for the annual Nutcracker on Sunday, September 19. The audition will take place at 218 South Wabash, 7th floor. Dancers between 4 feet and 4 feet 5 inches will be held from 10:00 am-11:30 am. For dancers over 4 feet 5 inches, but no taller than 5 feet, the audition will be held from 12:00 pm-1:30 pm for 5th year through advanced students and 2:00-4:00 for 1st through 4th year ballet students.

These auditions are a wonderful experience for dancers even if they don't make the cut. The exposure to professional dancers and other dancers like themselves is an experience of a lifetime. For more information call Carla Graham-White at 312-739-0120 ext. 17 or check out Joffrey's online.

The Dance Gallery faculty strongly encourages dancers to participate in experiences such as this. Lat season the Dance Gallery boasted two dancers in this cast!

Dance Gallery in Magic Kingdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Dance Gallery recently returned with rave reviews from their appearance in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Twenty one dancers along with some family members, Miss Amy, Miss Laura and Miss Kris, spent August 8-12 dancing and having a great time in Disney World. The dancers had a workshop with a Disney dancer where they cavorted with Goofy. They worked and played hard. The following day they danced on the Galaxy stage in Magic Kingdom.

The people in charge of the stage were impressed not only with the skill level of our dancers but their behavior and ability to adjust their finale at the last minute. We are so proud of our dancers in every way! Look for photos to appear in the waiting room soon.

DANCE in Love
The Dance Gallery's Christian dance company DANCE IN LOVE is looking forward to another exciting season of using our God given gifts in the ways they are intended. A parent meeting for new and returning dancers will take place Saturday, September 11 at 1:30 in the Dance Gallery waiting room. We will discuss upcoming events and expectations at this meeting.

About Placement of Dancers
The Dance Gallery faculty understands that it's fun to be in class with friends. However, we maintain that the most important place to be is where the student is learning at an appropriate rate and is not in danger of injury. We care deeply for our students and place them with care in their levels. Please continue to have faith in our experience which comes from years of teaching and parenting. We will always try to handle each situation with compassion and honesty. Also, please feel free to contact any of us with your concerns.
